Was kept informed about how work was being completed, what needed to be addressed immediately & what should be taken care of within the next few months of service and what total of tasks were going to cost for this maintenance service. Jason K. my service tech kept me apprised of my appointment and the plan for my car. I was very pleased with the service department. The only reason I did not give this dealership 5 stars is Jason had notified me my lifetime oil change program that I had purchased at the time I bought my car (in 2022) was cancelled. The overall service was fine, but they booked me for a mobile appointment, then called to say that there was no more space in the mobile schedule, so I had to bring it into be serviced. My car had an emission problem. My car was there for 4 days. I was never offered a loaner car. The girls who answered the phone were kind but it was very hard to get through and speak with a human. The voicemail system is very frustrating and I felt I was bothering them calling daily for information about my car.
Zero communication about my truck. Dropped it off first thing Thursday. Did not hear from them all day. Had to call at end of the day just to find out that they didn’t have a technician even look at it yet. Left it there all day Friday. Never been treated so bad from anywhere my truck was there for 9 days never received a phone call from anybody different person told me a different cost every time doesn’t matter I will never ever go back or recommend Latham Fird to anybody more bad things to say but it doesn’t matter

I scheduled an appointment for an inspection. When I got there a very nice young man helped check me in and told me an hour. I was wondering why make an appointment if a simple inspection would take an hour. It hasn't taken that long when I would bring my car in on the spot to a mechanic. My problem isn't so much with the dealer, but with the product. I purchased a car 4 months ago, a 2020 Fusion with 40k miles, and I find that I have to spend $7k on a new transmission. I am extremely disappointed in the product and that the manufacturer won't stand behind it with a warranty. Took my car there because they had the part I needed in stock. Did not communicate at all. Dropped the car off Thursday for an oil change and minor maintenance. Never heard anything from the dealer. I called on Tuesday to check status. They were to busy to talk to me. Didn't get a call back for 2 hours to tell me it was ready. when I picked the car up, all 4 tires were low

I would recommend Ford of Latham for someone who needs service for their Ford. However I would not recommend buying a Ford vehicle. Ive owned a Fusion for 4 months. It has 40k miles, and I had to replace the transmission. I won’t be buying another.

Had my Maverick in for a recall, the appointment was for 10:00. The scope of work was explained clearly to me and the worse case scenario of how long it could take, Tim said my Maverick may not be completed till the next day.. it is better to know the worse case scenario than to expect the quick completion and be told it will take longer. When the vehicle was completed I got a video from the technician that showed a visual inspection and confirmed the recall was complete. Tim arranged a Uber ride for me to pick up my Maverick.
I’ve worked with Caylee a few times now and she is a pleasure to deal with! Friendly, accommodating and easy to work with. If you’re looking to buy a car, I’d recommend working with her.
